Lending a Helping Hand to Orphans
Every child should have a family, though not all are fortunate enough to have one. Unfortunate circumstances may have left them orphaned. Not everyone may have the opportunity or resources to adopt an orphan, but there are other ways to provide the needed assistance to them.
Even though we at Safar work towards making the world a better place for orphans and to make their life better, at times it may not be enough. If you have a sizeable social media presence or have some degree of influence over the community, sharing a few posts on a regular basis about their plight and helping to solicit donations in cash or in-kind would go a long way.
Orphans, like everyone else, need a shoulder to lean on and someone that will give them the love and encouragement they need. If you have time on your hands, you could consider visiting the local orphanage and talking to the kids.
It would mean a lot for them if there are people who show interest in their lives and care for them in whichever way possible. Growing up without parents is one of the hardest things to do in life. Even remembering them in your prayers would be enough, if you are unable to provide any other form of support for them.
